Agnes Hwang, Speech-Language Pathologist

Agnes has over 15 years of experience spanning across preschool and school-age speech, language, and literacy disorders.  She has public sector experience in Preschool Speech and Language programs as well as serving school-age students in public and private schools.  Agnes supports a wide range of pediatric communication concerns (e.g. speech sound disorder/phonology, motor speech, language, fluency, literacy and social language skills).   Furthermore, Agnes’ evidence-based, client and family centered care has supported individuals with a variety of communication needs including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Selective Mutism, developmental delay, learning disability and apraxia.

Agnes is fluent in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and familiar with some common American Sign Language (ASL).  She is a happy mother of two and enjoys reading, board games, camping and sewing/DIY.   Her great sense of humor and quick sketches have been known to motivate and encourage those around her.  Agnes believes in hands-on regular quality interactions as the foundation of language development and learning.
